Reese Witherspoon's son is reportedly set to land his first major film role in the new Liam Neeson movie. The film adaptation of 4 Kids Walk Into A Bank follows a heist that goes terribly wrong, and at times turns violent.

Neeson plays ex-bank robber Danny whose teenage granddaughter Paige, played by Talia Ryder, is the center of his world .

When Paige hears her grandfather's ex-gang is roping him into one more steal , she decides to enlist her three best friends to rob the bank the day before to save him the trouble of doing so, according to Deadline.

One of those friends will reportedly be played by Deacon Phillippe - the son of actors Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe - who is making his big screen debut alongside talents Noah Jupe, Whitney Peak and Jack Dylan Grazer.

The 20-year-old is studying music at New York University but made his acting debut as a guest star on season three of Netflix's Never Have I Ever in 2022. He's accompanied his mom, known for Legally Blonde, Big Little Lies, and The Morning Show, to a string of major Hollywood events over the last year.

The college student also debuted his album, titled A New Earth, in April 2023. This suggests the young man may be waving the way for a super rise to stardom and to follow in the footsteps of Neeson .

The Irish actor made his film debut in Pilgrim's Progress in 1978 and has gone on to enjoy a lengthy and successful acting career that includes Taken and a Best Actor Oscar nomination for Schindler's List.

It comes after actor Dennis Quaid opened up on whether a Parent Trip sequel could happen without Neeson's wife, late star Natasha Richardson .
