A Royal expert has suggested that there is one significant hurdle preventing Prince Harry from resuming his Royal duties .

Richard Fitzwilliams, a Royal commentator, speculated in an Express article about the potential consequences if Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were to rejoin the Royal family .

This speculation has been fuelled by "persistent rumors" that Harry wishes to spend more time in Britain , reconnect with old friends, and most importantly, reconcile with his family.

His unexpected attendance at his uncle Lord Fellowes's Memorial Service has further sparked these rumors.

It was reported that he and Prince William were positioned at the back of the church during the service, and attendees claimed they did not exchange any words. Fitzwilliams pointed out one major factor preventing the Sussexes from making Britain their home again.

He wrote: "The main problem with any comeback, if it hypothetically could be arranged, is obviously Meghan. Her home is in California ."

"She is detested in Britain where she currently has a negative rating of 37 percent according to a YouGov poll in August. She seeks prestige and global reach and is absolutely ruthless about getting it."

Despite her consistent advocacy for issues such as racial and gender inequality and online abuse, the commentator questioned whether the royals could trust her.

Meghan may struggle to find staff due to her reputation of being difficult to work for, a claim she denies, according to an insider. "The monarchy must maintain its dignity and not become part of the celebrity culture we are so obsessed with. It's crucial that the brothers reconcile in time," he added.

Mr Fitzwilliams pointed out: "The Sussexes are aware that their entire appeal is based on their Royal connections, including their $100 million contract with Netflix , which expires next year. However, they understand these will always be referred to as 'quasi-royal' visits."

"Meghan's lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard can't replace genuine Royal patronage. But could Harry return to some sort of Royal role if circumstances changed? ".

"He values his military ties greatly, and a gesture from King Charles in this area would certainly be well received. Plus, the King would get to see his grandchildren, Archie and Lili."

"In theory, this could pave the way for them to use their titles and even participate in Royal events in future years."

The one major hindrance is that Harry has no desire to return and has made that clear. Why on earth would either of them wish to return? Brits seem to need him to WANT to return even though they claim to hate him. He’s moved on. Worry about the Royal crew you have left.
