Resurfaced video shows Apalachee congressman's controversial gun stance after school shooting

Mike Collins, a member of Congress who represents parts of Georgia, posted a controversial video that has resurfaced following the tragic scenes from the Apalachee High School shooting .

Collins, the member of Congress who represents the impacted area , is a pro-gun Republican, who boasts about his shooting ability .

Many are pointing this out in the wake of the horrific Apalachee High School shooting, which has left at least two people dead with several others injured .

Social media users are sharing a video that Collins posted on Twitter back in 2022, where he holds an assault rifle, before shooting the gun in the same video.

He posted this controversial clip, alongside the caption: "Send me to Washington, and I’ll blow up the Democrats’ cover up."

This comes as Governor of Georgia Brian Kemp has issued a chilling warning following the shooting that took place at Apalachee High School in Barrow County on Wednesday morning.
