Harry and Meghan 'aligning with two royals' in devastating blow for William and Kate

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly growing closer to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie , sparking concerns for Prince William and Kate Middleton , says a Royal expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have distanced themselves from senior royals after making several critical remarks about their life within the Palace , seem to be rekindling ties with Beatrice and Eugenie. Royal author Tom Quinn believes this is causing unease for the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Speaking to The Mirror, Quinn remarked: "For William and Kate an alliance between Harry and Meghan and Beatrice and Eugenie is a huge worry. They sense that Beatrice and Eugenie feel that, as virtual outcasts themselves, they have far more in common with Harry and Megan than with any other part of the family. The situation is made worse by the fact that the senior royals' main asset Kate herself - is effectively out of action while she continues her treatment for cancer."

In March, it was announced that the Princess of Wales is undergoing cancer treatment and has taken a step back from her public roles. Quinn added: "The worry for the senior royals is that after their tour of Nigeria, Harry and Meghan will seize the initiative, reveling in positive publicity while Kate is forced to stay in the background," reports the Mirror .

He also mentioned that despite their move to the US, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex maintain a warm relationship with Beatrice and Eugenie. He said: "Although Harry and Meghan have little sympathy for Prince Andrew, they've kept in regular contact with Beatrice and Eugenie who have always been free of any associations with Meghan's angry, bitter time in the UK."

While Harry has remained friendly with Eugenie, even having her over for the Super Bowl last year, his rapport with Princess Kate seems non-existent. Sources say Kate isn't eager for a reunion, with one confidante divulging: "Meeting with Harry is the last thing that William or Catherine want or need right now."

They further disclosed the couple's priority is their well-being; Kate's cancer battle means they're steering clear of tension. The source told The Daily Beast: "It's a fantasy. It's not about apologies or who said what, it is about protecting his family. Kate is recovering from cancer, and they are avoiding stressful situations."

They quashed any rumors of Harry visiting Balmoral, concluding: "The idea that Harry and the kids are going to descend on Balmoral this summer is wishful thinking. It's all just very sad."
