Kate Middleton announces major cancer update in heartfelt video tribute to her family

Kate Middleton has released a major update on her recent cancer diagnosis.

The Princess of Wales, 42, announced in a video Monday she’s finished her cancer treatment. This comes shortly after she welcomed new chief scout Dwayne Fields on X.

The royal has been steering clear of the public for most of 2024 while receiving chemotherapy .

It is understood she will “potentially” join the King and royal family at the Cenotaph for the National Service of Remembrance on November 10, depending on her health.

Royal aides have reportedly started planning the princess’s annual “Together at Christmas” carol service at Westminster Abbey in December.

Her last public appearance was at the Wimbledon men’s final in July, according to the Sunday Times. She gave a health update in June saying there are “good days and bad days.”

She spent a restful summer with the Prince of Wales and their children at Anmer Hall, their home in Norfolk. She’s now back in Windsor after the summer holiday.

The princess first announced her health struggles in March after widespread speculation around her lack of public appearances. She revealed she had been diagnosed after undergoing a major abdominal surgery in January.
