The Princess of Wales has received a wave of affection after it was announced she's finished her chemotherapy treatment . On Monday night, Kate shared an exceptionally touching family video where she talked about a "renewed sense of hope and appreciation of life".

People across the globe have been quick to celebrate Kate's encouraging news - King Charles and Queen Camilla included . The Royal pair share a deep connection with Kate, a bond that's grown even stronger due to Charles' own battle with cancer, and they've reportedly embraced the recent update as 'wonderful news.'

Both the King and Queen are set to continue sending their love, thoughts, and support to Kate as she journeys towards complete healing. Kate's heartfelt video provided a rare glimpse into her family life with Prince William and their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, reports the Mirror .

Captured by Will Warr last month in Norfolk, near the family's rural residence Anmer Hall, the video compilation starts with the Wales family enjoying a countryside stroll, then shows Kate behind the wheel, and includes individual moments with the royals.

"As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you what a relief it is to have finally completed my chemotherapy treatment," the Princess of Wales began. "The last nine months have been incredibly tough for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in an instant, and we have had to find a way to navigate the stormy waters and road unknown.

"The cancer journey is complex, scary, and unpredictable for everyone, especially those closest to you. With humility, it also brings you face to face with your own vulnerabilities in a way you have never considered before, and with that, a new perspective on everything," she continued.

"This time has above all reminded William and me to reflect and be grateful for the simple yet important things in life, which so many of us often take for granted. Of simply loving and being loved."

The three-minute clip also featured lovely footage of the family, including Princess Kate pushing her youngest son Prince Louis on a swing, and George, Charlotte, and Louis getting up close to the camera. It also showed them all enjoying a game of cards with Kate's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.

Other touching moments in the film included William and Kate lying down together and laughing on a blanket on the beach; Prince William, 42, giving his wife a kiss on the cheek; Princess Kate and Princess Charlotte running to jump onto a hay bale; and Prince George and Prince Louis splashing around in the sea.

The Princess of Wales revealed back in March that she was undergoing cancer treatment. In January, she had a scheduled abdominal surgery, and two months later, she disclosed her cancer diagnosis.

In June, Kate stated she was "making good progress" in a statement issued before her first official public outing of 2024 the following day. So far this year, she has made two official appearances - Trooping the Colour on 15 June and at Wimbledon on 14 July.
