Dave Grohl comments bashing Taylor Swift resurface after he admits to affair

With Dave Grohl’s recent affair admission, fans are finding past comments that reflect poorly on the drummer.

The 55-year-old member of the Foo Fighters recently confessed to fathering a child outside of his 23-year-long marriage. He married Jordyn Blum in 2003, and the pair have three children together.

Grohl broke the news on his Instagram , saying: “I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her.

“I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."

While fans are angered by the news, some are looking back at past comments he’s made that’ve revealed his backstabbing nature.

In a recent instance, he made jokes regarding Taylor Swift . While playing a show in June, Grohl joked about her Eras Tour, insinuating her band doesn’t “play live.”

Grohl said to the crowd: “We’ve had more than a few eras, and more than a few ------- errors as well. Just a couple.

“That’s because we actually play live. What? Just saying. You guys like raw, live rock ‘n’ roll music, right? You came to the right ------- place.”

The comment got back to Swift, who then said at her show: “What you just did is an unforgettable moment in not just my life, but every single one of our crew. The band that's going to be playing live for you for three and a half hours tonight.

“They deserve this so much and so does every one of my fellow performers, and you just gave that to us so generously. We'll never forget it."

He seemed to understand his mistake, later saying: “You don't want the ------- Swifties on your ---."

Fans were confused by the comments, as he and Swift have supported each other in the past. He publicly commended her decision to re-record her albums in 2021.

At the time, he told Rolling Stone: “---- yeah, girl. Hell hath no fury. Now I’m scared of her! I would be so nerdy and into it. I think it’s so much fun.”

Maybe it's OK if Trump uses his music again, seeing that his moral compass is broken!
