Prince Harry has shared in the run-up to his 40th birthday that his most cherished present is his children - as well disclosing his birthday plans .

"The best gift I've ever been given is, without a doubt, my kids," he divulged. "I enjoy watching them grow every single day, and I love being their dad."

While the Duke of Sussex prepares for his landmark celebration this Sunday - and yet another semi-royal tour - he plans to spend quality time with his young ones, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, alongside his spouse Meghan Markle and some of their dearest pals. King Charles or his sibling Prince William will not be in attendance.

America's People magazine recently highlighted despite rumblings, Harry doesn't foresee returning to Royal commitments and seems content with domestic bliss in Montecito, California , while focusing on his philanthropic efforts.

Harry's busy schedule post-birthday consists of a trip to New York City to highlight initiatives dear to him, like the Princess Diana Legacy Award body. He remains dedicated to the charity work of the Archewell Foundation , which he started with Meghan, and is advancing various entertainment projects via their Netflix collaboration, including an eagerly anticipated December documentary centred on his love for polo, reports the Mirror .

The store is the brainchild of renowned literary agent Jennifer Rudolph Walsh and beauty tycoon Victoria Jackson, with Oprah Winfrey also showing her support.

Over the weekend, the couple attended one of the opening parties, looking stylish in matching cream outfits. They were there to show their backing for the new venture, with Harry reportedly recommending his contentious memoir, Spare, when asked for a book suggestion.

Town and Country magazine reports that it was Harry himself who inspired the name of the new store last year when his memoir was released. At a Beverley Hills launch event for the book, Harry expressed his gratitude to Jennifer, Victoria, and Oprah, referring to them as his 'fairy godmothers'.

Oprah then suggested that this should be the name of the new shop.
