A movie starring Liam Neeson is now available to watch on Amazon Prime, and it’ll keep you on the edge of your seat.

The Commuter, starring Liam Neeson , came out in 2018. The movie, directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, has been almost forgotten since its theatrical release, but you can watch it now from your living room.

The story follows Michael MacCauley, who unknowingly is recruited into a murder conspiracy after meeting a mysterious woman on his daily train commute.

Similar to his film Non-Stop, also directed by Collet-Serra, the entire plot takes place while traveling. In The Commuter, he’s solving the mystery on a train, while Non-Stop’s whodunit takes place on a plane.

Neeson acted alongside a young Florence Pugh, who would later rise to prominence for Little Women, Oppenheimer, Dune: Part Two and more. The Conjuring’s Patrick Wilson and Vera Farminga also reunite for the movie.

One critic said the movie has everything an action thriller needs: “You know what to expect – a fast pace, good action, that Neeson growl, and some amusing corniness.”

Another wrote: “An enjoyable, pulpy thrill ride that rises above the usual gamut of throwaway early year thriller releases, The Commuter is made all the more interesting by exciting, creative work behind the camera from Collet-Serra.”

Negative reviewers penned: “The film is hobbled by sloppy camera work, ludicrous fight scenes, hairbreadth escapes, and altogether too many suspects.”
