Taylor Swift reveals Post Malone's nickname for her as stars share 'cute' friendship

Taylor Swift amusingly disclosed that Post Malone persistently addresses her as 'ma'am' despite her attempts to dissuade him.

The 34-year-old songstress r evealed her cute nickname while accepting the award for best collaboration at the MTV VMAs, where she was accompanied onstage by Post Malone, her partner on the award-winning track 'Fortnight'.

Swift took the lead with her thank-you speech, expressing to the audience: "It's so amazing to have the opportunity to thank and honor the people who worked so hard with me on this video."

She went on to say: "There is a very clear reason why Post Malone is everyone in music's favorite person to collaborate with, and it is because you are so ridiculously talented. You are so versatile. And you're the most down-to-earth person."

Before passing the mic, Swift remarked: "Honestly, so unfailingly polite, it has taken me forever to get him to stop calling me ma'am.", reports the Mirror .

Yet, when she invited her co-star to speak, he couldn't help but quip, "Yes, ma'am," in response.

Post admitted to being completely speechless before extending his gratitude to Swift, lauding her as "one of the most kind and talented people I've ever had the honor of knowing" and commending "the amount of work and care and love that she puts into everything she does, from the music video to everything."

He remarked: "I watched her tied up to the operating table thing in the video, and she was just directing the music video from there. It was pretty badass."

Post added: "I just wanted to say thank you so very much for listening, and thank you so very much, Taylor, and I love you very much, and have a great night."

The heartwarming interaction charmed fans on X, with one commenting: "My favorite part was how sweet Taylor Swift said Post Malone is!! It was just the sweetest."
