A Colorado teenager was shot in the face after trying to ask for permission to take homecoming photos at a property in the area .

The teenage boy survived the shooting after he attempted to ask 38-year-old Brent Metz if he could take pictures on his property via a handwritten note .

Metz, a town council member in tiny Mountain View in Jefferson County, has since been charged with first-degree assault, illegal discharge of a firearm and two counts each of felony menacing and reckless endangerment, a misdemeanor.

The 17-year-old victim was with his 15-year-old friend, and he was taken to hospital where he was treated for serious injuries. The wounds are not thought to be life-threatening.

Jefferson County Sheriff's spokesperson Jacki Kelley says there was no indication from the caller that they were being robbed.

"We were headed up there on an unwanted party on their property...

"In the process of writing that note, a truck pulled up next to them. An adult male got out, pointed a gun at the windshield of their car and fired the gun."

In perhaps the most damning element of the story, Kelley confirmed that "there was no conversation" prior to the shot being fired.

Definitely a far left radical Dem. Probably helping harbor illegal aliens and Haitians.
