*WARNING - This article contains spoilers for Outlander seasons 1-7. *.

Fans of the beloved series Outlander are eagerly awaiting the second half of the seventh season, which is set to air this autumn. While they wait, they are speculating which plot lines will be concluded.

Buzz heightened when Sam Heughan, who plays Jamie Fraser, hinted at multiple "tie-ups" in the Starz show's weaving time-travel plots. Based on Diana Gabaldon's acclaimed series of novels, Outlander combines historical intrigue with fantasy, featuring Caitriona Balfe as Claire Fraser. Since its 2014 debut, the show has garnered a loyal following.

  • With the arrival of the seventh season, Heughan is priming the audience for an "extra large" adventure, with the first installment having premiered last year.

To capture the core of the incoming season briefly, he chose three words during his appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast: "It's XL, it's extended, it's massive", reports the Daily Record .

Additionally, he described the fresh episodes as either akin to a "homecoming" or "the return", heralding the comeback of well-known faces.

In the same interview, Heughan promised the season would be laden with dramatic reveals that will have fans abuzz at "water cooler moments" confirming long-standing mysteries will be resolved at last, reports the Express.

He commented: "Definitely, a lot of big stuff happens. There's new characters coming in. And there's obviously a lot of people know that there's returning characters."

Discussing the show's progression and hinting at the wrapping up of storylines, he added: "Some of the storylines tie up quite nicely, time travel stuff as well. So we're getting there. And I can't wait to be able to tell the end of the story. I wanted to finish it, I didn't want to just walk away."

Amidst this buzz, Redditor Own_Progress5989 asked others on the forum about what Sam teased: "I just listened to an interview with Sam and he said there will be a lot of time traveller wrap-ups and character storyline answered in season 7. Which ones will be wrapped up this season?"

The fan chatter then skyrocketed as many tried guessing which plotlines would conclude with speculation rife in the comments section.

One follower chimed in the conversation, musing: "I do wonder if he means that the people who can travel will be in the time where they will end the series by the end of season 7. That would be interesting given the book progression."

While a keen observer speculated: "I'm guessing he is talking about Roger (Richard Rankin) and Buck's (Graham McTavish) travel to the past where they meet Geillis (Lotte Verbeek)? The actor of Master Raymond (Dominique Pinon) confirmed he was going to be in s7, which is different from the books, so I guess we'll learn more about him too."

Getting deeper into discussion, a fan added to the hypothesis: "Interesting, so I suppose they will replace the doctor who cured Buck with Master Raymond? Which makes some sense tbh."

Contributing their own theory to the mix, another admirer suggested: "Well, more than likely, we'll see how Bree (Sophie Skelton), Roger, Buck, and the kids move from 1980 to 1739 to 1776(? ) back at the Ridge by the end of the series."
