McDonald’s employee shares ordering hack that will make sure you get fresh food every time

A former McDonald’s employee is revealing a hack to make sure you get a fresh meal.

If you’re a fan of the iconic cheeseburgers, you can get one for just 50 cents on National Burger Day , Sept. 18. A TikToker has a hack to make sure you get that burger fresh.

The user, @TJayGatsby, posted a video explaining the order hac k.

He said: “If you want to make sure it’s fresh, you just need to know two simple words: no salt.

“When the fries come up, they get salted, when the meat comes up, it gets salted. If you want it cooked fresh, tell them no salt because then they have to make a whole new batch.”

Some suggested then keeping salt in your car or taking your meal back home so you can salt it yourself.

One current employee commented: “As a current McCrew, I can confirm this as well! No salt always means fresh fries and fresh patties!”

“NO WAY!!! GOING TO TRY IT NOW,” another person said.

A new employee said they’ve already experienced customers ordering this way: “Noooo stooppp, today was my first day working at McDonald’s and someone ordered a medium fry with no salt and they had put me on fry duty first.”
