Outlander fans can hardly wait for the much-anticipated return of the Starz series, and in the meantime, lead man Sam Heughan has been keeping them in the loop with his latest adventures through his social media updates.
The actor, known for playing Jamie Fraser alongside Claire Fraser actress Caitriona Balfe, is a beloved part of the historical fantasy series.
As audiences eagerly await the continuation of Outlander's seventh season this November, the actors are also deep into filming the final episodes for season 8.
Despite his busy schedule, Sam hasn't been sitting idle outside of his on-screen duties. In fact, he's been travelling the UK promoting Sassenach Spirits, his own brand which includes a speciality blended Scotch whisky.

The show's dedicated fanbase shows immense support not only for the series but also for the personal ventures of its cast, particularly when it comes to Heughan's Sassenach Spirits.
Updates from Sam are always met with excitement, shown again by the swarm of likes on a new set of photographs he posted on Instagram just the other day.
Sam took to Instagram to share images from his visit back to his roots, Dumfries and Galloway, reports the Express .
To his following of 4.3 million, he posted various shots including a selfie with a bottle of Sassenach gin, a sumptuous afternoon tea spread, and himself sipping on the gin whilst showcasing his latest magazine feature in Dumfries and Galloway Life.
His Instagram post read: "Popped down to where I was born, in Dumfries and Galloway, to visit @cairndalehotelspa. Now serving @sassenachspirits Wild Scottish Gin, inspired by local Scottish botanicals.
"Make sure you check out their fabulous new spa and sip on a delicious Sassenach cocktail," he said, adding a heart emoji and giving a shout-out to the magazine and The Cairndale Hotel and Spa.
His latest Instagram update had fans buzzing in the comment section. An enthusiastic follower posted: "Congrats! Happy for you and the success you've achieved through your diligent effort and dedication."
"Hope you're enjoying some downtime Sam you deserve it. Cheers," penned another admirer, while someone else chimed in with: "Cheers Sam. Enjoy your downtime."
Praising his generosity, a fan added: "So wonderful Mr. Heughan/Coach Mr. Heughan there is no place like home. So special you are sharing and spreading your love around the world." (sic)
The Cairndale Hotel and Spa also took to social media to express their gratitude, saying: "What a pleasure to have had you with us this weekend!"
Stars of the renowned time-travelling period drama Outlander, based on the novel series by Diana Gabaldon, Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan will soon part ways emotionally on-screen after sharing an illustrious decade-long journey together.
Following the closure of Lionsgate+ in the UK, new episodes of Outlander will be available on Starz and to stream on Prime Video channel MGM+ from Sunday, November 22. You must be an Amazon Prime member before you can sign up for MGM+.
