Princess Charlotte has a surprisingly sophisticated taste in food for a nine-year-old. Unlike many children her age who might be content with simple fare like cheese sandwiches and potato dishes, the young Royal has a more refined palate.

According to the Princess of Wales, her children enjoy making salads and their signature dish, cheesy pasta. Kate Middleton has also revealed that Princess Charlotte has a fondness for olives , a taste she shares with her mother, who has previously expressed her own love of olives.

Meanwhile, six-year-old Prince Louis has a remarkable fondness for beetroot, a root vegetable often disliked by children. The Duchess shared this tidbit while filming a TV Christmas special with Mary Berry, saying, "We've got carrots, beans, beetroot a massive favorite Louis absolutely loves beetroot."

As for Prince George, the eldest child, he is reportedly a fan of spaghetti carbonara. The Cambridge household staples include pasta, roast chicken, and homemade pizzas, which the children "can't get enough of."

The Duke and Duchess have also mentioned their love of smoothies and steak while on Royal duty, reports the Mirror .

Kate and her brood aren't big on sweets, Marie Claire reports, but they're fans of Italian grub like pasta and pizza. Just earlier this month, Princess Charlotte and her brother Prince George joined in the holiday cheer at Windsor Great Park, choosing a Christmas tree to spruce up their Adelaide Cottage residence.

A Royal insider revealed to HELLO!: "It's no surprise that Prince William and his family picked their tree from Windsor Great Park. "The late Queen always got Windsor Castle's Christmas trees from there, and King Charles followed suit last year. He's maintaining the family custom."
