Police officers turned up at the home on Greenvale Road in Oklahoma City, close to Lytle Park, and reported being hit by a stench of urine and poo. Dodd answered the door when the officers showed up and first lied that he was the only one in before admtting that his two sons were upstairs, reports the Mirror US .
An officer noted in a police report obtained by LawandCrime that Dodd offered to fetch the boys from upstairs, but the officer insisted on accompanying him. The officer described the state of the home, writing: "I was standing just inside the door of the home, and I could see the house was extremely unkempt.
"There was filth everywhere, food all over the table, walls, and floors. The odor inside the house was very strong; it smelled like garbage and feces."
As he prepared to check upstairs with an officer, Dodd reportedly called Freeman to inform her about the police presence at their residence. An officer recounted in the report hearing the children's mother say through the phone: "The ******* cops are at my door; we need to go."
It was observed by the officer that Dodd moved swiftly upstairs and seemed to fiddle or shake the doorknob as though it had been locked before he opened the door.
Once the door was opened, the official detailed being hit by a stench so nauseating it churned his stomach and brought tears to his eyes. In the report, it was disclosed that the children appeared "extremely dirty" with fecal matter on most parts of their body including faces, hands, legs, and feet, noting: "I observed two young boys who were entirely naked immediately come out of the room as if they had been standing at the door waiting or trying to get out. The boys were both extremely dirty, covered in feces on their faces, hands, bodies, legs, and feet."
MSgt. Gary Knight from the Oklahoma City Police described a horrific scene to ABC affiliate KOCO, saying: "Feces on the walls, feces on the kids. It was a completely disgusting scene. When they went inside, the officers described almost becoming overcome by the smell of feces and urine inside the residence."
Court documents reveal that the apartment's conditions were so dire that officers needed to wear hazmat suits for their safety.
Additionally, the TV station reported allegations that Dodd confessed to authorities about locking the boys in a filthy bedroom for 12 hours daily. Reports also indicate there was another child in the residence. Following the discovery, all three children were hospitalised for examinations and are now under the care of state child welfare services.
Arrests of the parents took place on September 12, and they are currently waiting for their cases to be formally charged by prosecutors, as informed by a spokesperson for the Oklahoma County District Attorney's Office to LawandCrime. The report noted that the couples bonds have been set at $250,000 each.

I’m guessing Child Protective Services were called numerous occasions and this particular neighbor knew nothing would be done and called the police and demanded these children be checked on.There are 160,000-180,000 children that cannot be accounted for that have crossed our southern border and DHS has admitted live that they do not know where they are. These children are presumed to be sex slaves and many are probably dead. This community just recently had a 2 year old boy died and neighbors repeatedly reported suspected abuse and nothing was done. He was physically abused and it is thought he died of starvation. There’s an older boy who is living in hell right now, his grandpa’s wife treats him terribly and the neighbor has turned it in and nothing has been done for years.

My goodness, give them up for adoption or to a loving relative if you don’t want to be a parent. How awful.
