Diddy, the music mogul, is said to have made contestants on his early 2000s reality show MTV's Making The Band trek across New York for cheesecake, not for himself but for a certain superstar.

Former Da Band member Freddy P spilled the beans on why they were sent on the infamous dessert run during the show. In a memorable episode from the second season of Making The Band, Diddy had the group walk for three hours from Manhattan to Brooklyn to fetch him some cheesecake from the famous Junior's.

During an interview on The Art of Dialogue, following Diddy's recent arrest on sex trafficking charges , Freddy P recounted the notorious incident that's etched in reality TV lore.

Despite the allegations, Diddy has entered a plea of not guilty to all charges .

"Okay, fun fact a lot of people don't know - that cheesecake we went and got was for Beyonce," Freddy revealed in the interview. "She was upstairs the whole time."

He also mentioned, "At first [Diddy] was like, 'I want some cheesecake,' but we took all night to do the process, right? So when we got back, it was like four or five in the morning."

Freddy revealed that after returning from Junior's, Diddy instructed them to deliver the cheesecake upstairs to the Single Ladies singer. He didn't confirm or deny if Beyonce was aware of the group's journey to get the dessert.

Freddy also shared that he and his Making The Band co-star Dylan were the only members who didn't walk back to Manhattan from Brooklyn. While the other members believed they were defying Diddy's original instruction, when they later informed the music mogul about Freddy and Dylan's decision, Diddy agreed with it.

Freddy alleged that Diddy told the rest of the group that he didn't "tell them" to walk back. He isn't the only Da Band Member who suggested that the cheesecake they walked to get was for Queen Bey and not Diddy.

Former Da Band member Sara Rivers hinted in a 2015 interview that Beyonce might have been the one who ate the cheesecake.

"I think the next day, maybe Beyonce or someone else ate the cheesecake," Sara speculated. "I'm not sure exactly who it was because I wasn't there to see if they ate it or not, but that's what I heard-that Beyonce or someone who came to the studio had the cheesecake."

OK, I get it. Diddy was a bad boy. however, doesn’t it seem like anyone Black with money and power is being pulled into this thing..Eric Adams with all his allegid crimes as well , even down to TD Jakes. I’m not saying these people are innocent or guilty. I am just pointing out that when you start talking Jay Z and Beyoncé it starts to look like a pattern of a takedown of powerful Black people.
