Eric Adams, Mayor of New York City, is accused of illegally accepting lavish stays and travel experiences including $7,000 suites and boat trips in bombshell FBI allegations .

Eric Adams is alleged by the FBI to have taken advantage of valuable travel and hospitality benefits from those looking to "seek influencer over him" while in Turkey on multiple occasions over the years.

In July and August 2017, Adams, his relative and an associate are alleged to have paid just $600 for a two-night stay in a suite which should have amounted to $7,000.

The agency claims the owner of the hotel "sought to ingratiate herself with Adams" during the period in which he accepted the heavily discounted stay.

Adams spent two nights in the lavish Bentley Suite room at the St. Regis Istanbul in 2017.

The Bentley Suite - inspired by the high-end car manufacturer - is a huge 125sqm by 1345sqft room boasting a marble bathroom.

Adams would have enjoyed a separate living room, a king bed, as well as a butler service, according to Marriott.com.

On its Instagram page, the St Regis Istanbul has boasted about the impressive suite, which comes with a "special champagne cabinet" build into the large, cream leather sofa which wraps around a window with panoramic views.

Later, in 2019, Adams is alleged to have stayed in the no-less lavish Cosmopolitan suite for free. His two-day stay should have cost $3,000 in total, according to official documents.

During this time, Adams "also solicited and accepted from the Promoter free transportation, meals, and entertainment, including a car and driver, a boat tour to the Princes' Islands in the Sea of Marmara, a Turkish bath at a seaside hotel, and at least one meal at a high-end restaurant," the documents alleged.

The FBI claims Adams "did not disclose any of these trips on his annual disclosure forms, despite a legal requirement to do so" and he did this "In order to conceal the valuable flight, hotel, and other travel benefits that ERIC ADAMS, the defendant, accepted from foreign nationals seeking influence over him."

Eric Adams has spoken out on the indictment today, insisting he will not step down from his role as mayor of NYC . He said he was not surprised and that city business will continue as usual.

"It's an unfortunate day, it's a painful day," Adams expressed in a statement.

We have a convicted rapist and felon trying to run for President. Adams accepted some discounted hotel rooms. There are more important things to worry about.
