Netflix refuses to show 'best' part of Angelina Jolie's film Maria in thrilling trailer

Fans of Angelina Jolie have been kept guessing as to what her real singing voice is like after Netflix refused to reveal the 'best' part of her new film.

The streaming giant teased her highly-anticipated new film with a 'goosebump' trailer , but kept the best part for themselves.

Fans were desperate to see Tomb Raider star Angelina sing opera for the first time on screen. Oscar winner Angelina plays opera legend Maria Callas in the new Netflix flick.

Fans have been desperate to see Angelina belt out some hits, but they were left hanging as the trailer teased other moments in the movie - leaving out the most important part. It's little wonder fans were desperate to see it. The film, tiled Maria, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in August to a grand eight-minute standing ovation, and tears from Angelina - is set to be released on Netflix in November.

It will be in UK theatres on January 10, 2025. The crowd went wild for Angelina Jolie's performance of opera singer Maria earlier this month.

During its debut at the Venice Film Festival, she was accompanied by director Pablo Larrain. After the screening, the audience was moved to rise from their seats and applaud the actress, crew, and cast of the movie. The reaction to the world premiere left Angelina emotional as the crowd stood to their feet.

Angelina stunned at the premiere, wearing a gorgeous tan gown. The silky dress hugged her body in an elegant fashion as she accessorized with a fur shaw. The actress added a golden flower broach onto the garment.

The star opted for a more neutral makeup palette, but gave a pop of color on her lips with a bold red. She kept the look sophisticated with minimal accessories, except for some simple earrings.

Angelina made a statement about the movie, touching on her months of preparation and the emotional healing that the role offered her. According to The Hollywood Reporter , she said: “I had no idea how much I was holding in and not letting out, so the challenge wasn’t the technical, it was an emotional experience to find my voice, to be in my body, to express. You have to give every single part of yourself.”
