Meghan Markle 'fuming' over Royal Family's birthday post for Prince Harry one one 'upsetting' detail

Meghan Markle is reportedly "fuming" after the Royal Family made a public move on Prince Harry's crucial 40th birthday .

On September 15, King Charles and Queen Camilla posted warm birthday wishes to Harry on their social media channels, saying: "Wishing The Duke of Sussex a very happy 40th birthday today!" They paired the kind words with a photo of a joyful Harry in a smart grey suit jacket and white shirt.

However, because Meghan wasn't featured in the image , someone close to the couple has claimed Meghan feels "understandably upset".

Speaking to Heat World, the insider revealed: "She's happy for Harry because she knows how much this means to him, but she's understandably upset, too. She thinks it could be sending the message that it's Harry they're ready to forgive."

Meghan's friend remarked: "It seems obvious they'd take him back in a heartbeat and, as usual, Meghan's the one in the wrong. Picking an image without her in it felt symbolic and like a snub whether intended or not and by all accounts, she's fuming about it. She refuses to be pushed out like this."

Meanwhile, the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated Prince Harry's significant 40th birthday with a touching post on social media, saying: "Wishing a Happy 40th Birthday to The Duke of Sussex!"

As soon as the Royal Family posted Harry's photo, sharp-eyed royal enthusiasts speculated that Meghan seemed to be "cropped out" from the snap since she was present at the same event as Harry in Dublin in July 2018, which is when the photo is believed to have been snapped.

Last year, King Charles chose not to publicly celebrate Harry's 39th birthday, a decision that aligns with royal protocol which does not require public birthday wishes for non-working members of the Royal Family. This came in the wake of Harry's memoir 'Spare', which was critical of his family, including William, Kate and Camilla.

Since stepping down as senior working royals in 2020 and moving to Montecito, California , tensions have been high between Harry and Meghan and the rest of the Royal Family. Harry has been seen attending charity events alone in New York, while Meghan stays in California with their two children, Prince Archie, five, and Princess Lilibet, three.

Despite Meghan not spending much time in the UK since Queen Elizabeth's funeral in 2022, Harry is set to attend the WellChild Awards in London on September 30.

Good !!! It’s his birthday, not hers and he doesn’t have to or shouldn’t answer to her. Unfortunately, she is only his wife but hopefully not for too much longer.
