Over on X, a Royal expert sniped: "If you need any more evidence that Harry and Meghan are pathetically trying to be America's royals... This is what ambassadors and politicians wear, a pin with their country's flag on it. Even William and Catherine's staff aren't forced to wear something so stupid."
Another openly mocked: "That's real desperation for relevance," reports the Mirror .
Some have pointed out that the staff member might have chosen to wear the monogram pin of their own accord, with one individual asking: "What makes you think it's forced? " This comes as the Royal couple has developed a bit of a reputation for struggling to retain employees as they continue to expand their charitable and production endeavors outside of the Firm.
Just last month, Harry's chief of staff departed his position after only three months, bringing the total number of resignations in their office to 18. Josh Kettler, a high-ranking PR executive, assumed the senior role working with Harry in May prior to the Sussexes' tour of Nigeria.
It was understood that Mr Kettler was hired on a trial basis and the decision to part ways was mutual, with both parties agreeing it was not the right fit.
