AT&T outage hits customers as they report call service down

AT&T users have reported outages in their area across the country Monday.

The internet service has had over 1,400 reported outages from customers throughout the US as of noon ET, according to Down Detector. This comes just an hour after Version users have also reported internet problems.

The main areas reporting AT&T outages are Charlotte, Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, Indianapolis and Houston. Reported issues include problems with their mobile phone calls, landline internet and mobile internet.

AT&T is the largest provider of fiber internet in the country, with coverage for over 122.5 million people.
