Dave Grohl has been spotted with his daughter for the first time in public since news of his love child scandal broke . The Foo Fighters frontman shared a shocking Instagram last month revealing he had been unfaithful to his wife .
The 55-year-old admitted he had fathered a child outside of his marriage and had welcomed a baby girl into the world as a result. The rock star shares three children Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10, with Jordyn Blum, 48.
The singer was snapped on Sunday, September 29 with his youngest daughter, Ophelia, leaving a store in California with a cart load of Halloween decorations, according to People Magazine. Grohl was not wearing his wedding ring.
Looking somewhat downcast, Grohl could be seen piling a toy skeleton into his shopping cart and loading it into the boot of his truck. Dave stepped out wearing a grey t-shirt, black cargo shorts and a baseball cap , with his famous long hair tied back into a bun. He finished his look with a pair of black Vans.
It's been nearly a month since the Best Of You chanter made the bombshell announcement that rocked fans across the world . The diamond noticeably missing from Grohl's finger may be telling to some followers of his career.

Reaction has been mixed from fans who were again left disappointed after the group canceled their appearance on Sunday at the Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut , at short notice.
On social media platform, Reddit, fans are wading in to give their views on Grohl's infidelity, whether he deserves such prolonged backlash, and whether it will affect their support for him and the Foo Fighters going forward .
One fan wrote on a r/Foofighters thread: "His life is a mess and presumably he has to go deal with it.
"The disappointment of many fans is because his family is a big part of his persona . Nobody is surprised by Mick Jaggers actions, including his partners because he doesn’t pretend to be anything else.
"By all accounts Dave’s family was equally surprised so the deception runs deep.
"People have empathy for his wife and kids who are in the middle of this public mess through no fault of their own . Take a minute to think about a group of people having to suffer humiliation and the potential destruction of their family in public. The issue is the lying. It always is, but people want to play dumb and say it’s the sleeping around."
Another chimed in: "I'm not defending his actions, as cheating and having children outside of marriage is clearly wrong . However, considering the range of 'bad' things a Rockstar can do, this seems relatively minor. Many other rock stars have done the exact same thing, and I’ve never seen anyone 'cancel' them over it."
A third added: Let’s be honest, considering all the messed-up things he could have done , what he did is relatively normal (still wrong, but normal) both for rock stars and regular people. I’m genuinely shocked by what’s happening.
"I love Foo Fighters, and to be honest, unless Dave committed a serious crime , I couldn’t care less about what he does in his personal life. I still love Foo Fighters just as much as before.

In his statement at the time, Grohl vowed to be a "loving and supportive parent" to his new child while " doing everything he can to regain his wife and children's trust and earn their forgiveness ". He has been married since 2003.
