McDonald's is celebrating Halloween early this year by bringing back the boo buckets on Oct.15 .

The fan-favorite buckets will feature four new designs, monster faces in orange, green, white and a new blue color.

McDonald's announced that customers can personalize their buckets with Halloween stickers. The stickers include wings and hats.

As the boo buckets are limited-edition, McDonalds says that the buckets will only be available while supplies last at the golden arches across the country.

When McDonald's posted about the buckets on Instagram, the post received over 45,000 likes and 600 comments. “Boo buckets go wild” commented UNO, with McDonald's responding back “Which one is your fave?”

McDonalds took to X to post about the candy containers as well. “Brought back ur fave boo buckets for spooky szn. 10.15.”

The fast food chain was actively replying in the comments soon after the post went live on X with playful comments, showing their excitement for the product.

When Samantha A, or X user @Samantha1989TV commented “thank you mcdonald’s”, the official McDonald account responded “you are welcome Samantha”.

Originally introduced in 1986, and brought back in 2016, 2022, and then reintroduced in 2023, the return of the candy containers are predicted to be a hit this year.

As a fun way of jazzing up the iconic Happy Meal for spooky season, the buckets are reusable, and can be used for trick or treating.

McDonalds is known for their classic and recurring characters. Besides their mascot, Ronald McDonald, a fan-favorite is grimace.

The purple character is known for the grimace shake, a purple milkshake, that went viral on TikTok in summer 2023.
