Dave Grohl slapped with 'ultimatum' prompting desperate 'last-ditch effort' move

Dave Grohl has been slapped with an "ultimatum" from his wife but believes his marriage is "salvageable". The 55-year-old is grappling with the fallout of his affair which led to his mystery mistress giving birth to a baby girl.

The Foo Fighters frontman admitted to a love child scandal on Instagram last month , with the world shocked to learn he had chatted on his long-term wife, Jordyn Blum, with whom he shares Violet, 18, Harper, 15, and Ophelia, 10.

The singer vowed to regain Blum's trust and "earn the forgiveness" of his family while "being a loving and supportive parent" to his new-born. Despite the deceit, Grohl reportedly believes his relationship with Blum is not written off.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, sources say Grohl's "last-ditch effort" post was made after Blum issued the chanter an "ultimatum" after discovering he had fathered a child outside his marriage "well before the world found out".

Insiders said the Best of You singer is attempting to "divert his focus" so he can support Blum in "day-to-day things she wants".

‘He thinks the marriage is salvageable so why not try to fix it?’ they said. "Jordyn hasn't felt like his number one for a long time now. She gave him an ultimatum to figure it out and he wants to regain her trust.

"He has to focus on her, that will be his best chance at getting back to what they had . Dave is focusing on her needs." The source added that Grohl confessed everything to his wife and always "would rather remain married".

Dave Grohl was spotted with his daughter for the first time in public since news of his love child scandal broke . The singer was snapped on Sunday, September 29 with his youngest daughter, Ophelia, leaving a store in California with a cart load of Halloween decorations, according to People Magazine. Grohl was not wearing his wedding ring.
