King Charles misses his ‘darling boy’ Prince Harry but one family member is getting in the way

Prince Harry just went back home , but he didn’t visit King Charles or Prince William during his short trip. A royal expert told Fox News that the King has been missing his “darling boy”, Prince Harry, lately.

On Sep 30, The Duke of Sussex attended the 2024 WellChild Awards in London, but according to PEOPLE magazine, the Prince did not see his father or brother in England.

Hilary Fordwhich, a royals expert, told Fox News Digital that King Charles, 75, is more likely to have talks of peace with his younger son, Prince Harry, 40, than Prince William, 42.

"If anyone would relent, it would be King Charles III, whom, of course, Prince William won’t challenge," Fordwich explained. "[He] still misses his ‘darling boy’ and would like to see more of Prince Harry.

"However, to this day, after the release of [his memoir] ‘Spare’ and the Netflix series, as well as with everything else Harry has said, done and not done – it’s Prince William who adamantly refuses to even speak to his brother."

A source told PEOPLE magazine that Harry tried to reach out to his father via letters and calls, but his father didn’t answer him. Harry also attempted to connect with his brother William, but the source says his efforts are “simply ignored”.

“With Prince Harry, it’s all an issue of trust," said Fordwich. "Prince William is the most unlikely royal to ever forgive Harry for all his despicable indiscretions…In this capacity, it’s widely known within the family that Prince William has laid down an absolute ban on Harry returning in any way, shape or form to his former royal family fold."

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, 43, left the Royal Family in 2020. Since then, Prince Harry has gone on multiple platforms and discussed his strained relationship with his family.

"William and Harry would not meet each other right now, even though they were just a very short distance away from each other," royal expert Ian Pelham Turner claimed to Fox News Digital.

"This is of no surprise to me as the bickering between the two brothers continues," Pelham Turner added.
