Lownie regards the Duke and Duchess as perfectly matched, remarking: "In some ways, part of the perception is that, he's not the good guy, he's as bitter, and twisted, and ambitious as she is."

Lownie stressed the importance of perception versus reality, explaining that "it's all about creating narratives - PR narratives - and this one will play better, it's good cop, bad cop," reports the Express US .
