Meghan Markle is reportedly postponing the release of her own memoir for a surprising reason , it's been suggested.

While there's no confirmation of a memoir by the Duchess of Sussex, chatter about a potential memoir has grown since Prince Harry's Spare was released in January 2023.

A source recently spilled to Closer Online that the Duchess has "strategically chosen to hold off" any potential release for a significant reason .

The insider revealed to the outlet: "She's strategically chosen to hold off for the sake of peace, but she absolutely wants to share her truth and why shouldn't she, when she's endured so much? ".

Elaborating on a possible release, the source added: "The word in publishing circles is that everyone's mad to land Meghan's memoirs and the numbers being thrown around are ridiculously high."

"We're talking tens of millions for her authorised biography it's going to get to the point where she can't say no. And love her or hate her, there's no denying that she has an insight into the royals that no one else can share."

According to The Sun, Spare has reportedly netted Harry around £20 million ($27 million) - including an upfront payment of at least £14 million ($20 million). The Duke and Duchess of Sussex resigned as senior working royals in early 2020, before relocating to the US shortly after with their son Archie.

The pair have been at odds with the royals ever since their move to the US, with the dispute between the two sides ongoing.

Prince Harry, 40, has made several trips to the UK this year, with his latest visit occurring just last week when he attended the WellChild awards.

On the other hand, Meghan, 43, hasn't set foot in the UK since 2022. It's believed that the Duchess stayed in the US with their two children, Archie and Lilibet, during Harry's recent visit.

Meghan has no credibility so its more likely she's " holding off" to use as blackmail against William when he becomes king. With Charles there is still a chance of financial help. William won't give a rats azz about her
