Netflix has kept viewers on the edge of their seats for four years with a gripping coming-of-age journey, and now it's back on our screens for Season 4.
Outer Banks centres around a band of teenagers known as the Pogues, who are led by John B in a quest to uncover the truth about his missing father. During this mission, they stumble upon treasure connected to John B's father, sparking an adventurous four-season saga.
The drama focuses on a close-knit group brought to life by some of Hollywood's brightest young stars, including Chase Stokes as John B; Drew Starkey as Rafe Cameron; Madison Bailey as Kiara Carrera; Jonathan Daviss as Pope Heyward; Rudy Pankow as JJ Maybank; and Madelyn Cline as Sarah Cameron.

Madelyn's early life and modelling career

Born and bred in South Carolina to parents estate agent Pam and engineer Mark, Madelyn embarked on her career as a child model. While signed to a local modelling agency, Millie Lewis Models and Talent, she featured in various TV and magazine ads.
She began appearing in short films as a teenager before making her way into full-length movies with the 2016 comedy, Savannah Sunrise.
Madelyn has revealed her battle with an eating disorder during her teenage years. In a 2020 interview with Women's Health, she confessed: "When I was younger I did struggle with eating disorders, specifically when I was a teenager. I think I was around 16 when I started working out a lot."
Her exercise routine was extreme, as she said: "I would wake up every morning at 5am and I would work out for 30 minutes. It was super rigorous cardio every day." Furthermore, Madelyn detailed her restrictive diet, which included having just six almonds for breakfast.
What films has she been in?
Before her role in Outer Banks, Madelyn landed several minor parts. She emerged on the big screen in the 2018 biographical film Boy Erased, starring alongside celebrities Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe.
Her TV credits include CW's The Originals, HBOs dark comedy Vice Principals, and a stint on Stranger Things Season 2.
Post-Outer Banks fame, she scored a role in the ensemble murder mystery Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery, and is also set to appear in the upcoming fourth chapter of the horror series, I Know What You Did Last Summer.
Is Madelyn Cline in a relationship?
Madelyn was in a relationship with her Outer Banks colleague Chase Stokes from summer 2020 until late 2021. Following their split, she expressed learning to cherish her personal space.
Her dating history also includes musician Jackson Guthy and funnyman Pete Davidson. However, the actress is currently single.
Outer Banks Season 4 part 1 is available to stream now on Netflix. The second instalment of the season will air on November 7.
