Tiger Woods has hastily dodged the lethal Hurricane Milton, encountering Florida with full force since Wednesday night, causing widespread chaos.

Spotted by radar as his private jet veered away from the daunting weather , Tiger was tracked departing from Florida on Wednesday morning. Radars caught his aircraft landing in Jackson, Mississippi according to an update from the eagle-eyed spotter - the reason behind this specific detour remains a mystery as per Golf Magic's reports.

Not solo in this dangerous tango with nature, Irish golf sensations Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry were similarly standing guard over their opulent Florida homes as Hurricane Milton loomed. Residing in Jupiter, where the clamor of 'tropical storm warning' sirens blared, both stars awaited with bated breath.

In the thick of pre-storm suspense, Wendy Lowry, Shane's other half, took to Instagram to share a snapshot of their youngster biking, aptly captioning it "Calm before the storm."

Since snapping up a property from ace Ernie Els in 2011, McIlroy has set down roots in Jupiter. Shane Lowry followed suit in 2017, settling in just ahead of his Open win at Royal Portrush, reports the Express .

McIlroy's plush home is worth an eye-watering $22 million and sprawls over 2.4 acres and boasts nine bedrooms and 10 bathrooms. The South Florida home also features a breathtaking infinity pool, a games room, a tennis court, a cinema, a recording studio, and top-notch gym facilities.

His 13,000-square-foot home includes a six-car garage to house his impressive motor collection, all hoping to dodge Milton's wrath. The residence, where McIlroy lives with wife Erica Stoll, is surrounded by lush greenery, including palms and its own private golf course.

Before the once-in-a-century hurricane hit, a Pasco County official sent out a dire warning to its residents, saying: "This is your last chance to take shelter. After that, you'll need to find a way to the shelter or be prepared to ride out the storm."

Milton escalated to a Category 5 nightmare as it hurtled across the Gulf of Mexico heading for Florida, leaving behind a trail of chaos. The ferocious storm has ravaged the state, triggering catastrophic floods and damage, rendering vast tracts landlocked.

The mega-storm has already claimed lives, with a series of tornadoes demolishing homes and devastating communities. Initially striking as a Category 3 Hurricane, Milton weakened to a Category 2 as it ravaged central Florida, raising concerns that the death toll may climb further.

US President Joe Biden has emphasized the critical nature of evacuations, stating "life and death." Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned: "Absolutely every place on the west coast of Florida could get a major storm surge."

This catastrophic event follows closely on the heels of Hurricane Helene, which, as a category four storm, resulted in the deaths of at least 225 individuals across several states including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia.
