Barry Keoghan has revealed his favorite Irish dish and it should come as no surprise to those from or living in Ireland.

The Saltburn star made an appearance at London Fashion Week last month where he sported a white jacket - a cheeky nod to a lyric in Sabrina Carpenter's song 'Bed Chem' as the pair continue their rumored romance.

The Dubliner was asked about his upcoming role in the Peaky Blinders movie and his "brutally violent, blood-soaked" Irish drama thriller which has recently won a major award, but also touched on lighter matters, namely Irish cuisine.

"I was going to ask you what is your favorite British dish but I know you're Irish so from one Irish person to another, what's your favorite Irish dish ?" a Culted interviewer asked the BAFTA award winner.

"What's yours?" Keoghan asked immediately, to which the interviewer offered up the now infamous chicken fillet roll . Toying with the idea of opting for shepherd's pie as his answer, Keoghan agreed.

"I never even thought of that actually! That's a great one, that's mine. Chicken fillet roll with mayonnaise and lots of butter... spicy, yeah. Lots of butter. "

A chicken fillet roll is a hugely popular order in delis right across Ireland. This humble creation brings together a perfectly cooked chicken fillet, a soft roll, and an array of fillings and condiments .

The roll, as well as a host of other national delicacies like spice bags and fish and chips, can be found at certain spots in New York and other US cities , meaning expats and tourists alike don't need to miss out on a national delicacy.
