Why Sean 'P Diddy' Combs and Ashton Kutcher 'stopped clubbing' together

Sean "P Diddy" Combs and Ashton Kutcher used to be good friends who hit the clubs together , but the actor's relationship with Demi Moore led it all to end years back.

The rapper, who is awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, has insisted he isn't a threat as he's made countless bail appeals, and several celebrities have been speaking out either about his infamous parties, or been warned about the hours of tapes that could expose them in compromising situations.

One person who has allegedly been worried about their association with Combs is Kutcher himself, who became friends with him in the early aughts.

The two went clubbing together frequently, until around 2003, when it stopped. In a 2010 Time essay, Combs wrote about Kutcher, admitting that their time like that ended for one reason–Kusher's serious relationship with Demi Moore.

"For a while, with Jamie Foxx, we were a rat pack, hanging out, going to clubs," he wrote at the time. However, once Moore came into the picture in 2003, that all changed.

"I remember one night he was with Demi, maybe for the first time, and a couple of weeks later, he called to tell me he was in love. That was the end of our clubbing," he wrote.

Kutcher was with Moore for eight years, splitting in 2011. He went on to marry his That 70s Show co-star Mila Kunis in 2015, and the two have two children together.

However, the essay also doesn't bode well for Kutcher because while it states they stopped clubbing, Combs did admit they were still close friends.

"But we are still friends," he said. "Not that cliche of, 'Let's make a movie let's do a deal.' He is a sounding board for me. Like me, he's a mogul–a new-media mogul. But we are yin and yang: I am in your face, but he is understated, cool, suave."

Kutcher has remained quiet about Combs since his arrest, but his past with him is likely to be scrutinized as Combs heads to trial.

Specifically, comments he made about Diddy's infamous parties during a 2019 appearance on the Hot Ones podcast have raised eyebrows.

"Wow, I've got a lot I can't tell," he said at the time.
