King Charles sends 'hidden message' to Harry and Meghan about Royal return

A Royal commentator has suggested that King Charles III might have sent a "hidden message" about keeping the door open for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's potential return to Royal duties.

The couple's relationship with the monarchy has reportedly deteriorated since their high-profile exit from 'The Firm' in 2020.

Their standing took a further hit following their Netflix documentary and Prince Harry's explosive memoir, Spare. However, last year, an insider close to the monarch hinted at a possible warming of relations , as Charles extended an olive branch to his embattled brother, Prince Andrew.

On his podcast The Daily Beast, commentator Tom Sykes noted: "A family friend of the King's [has said] that it was clear there had been a willingness to bring Andrew in from the cold, and, intriguingly, hinted that it could be a template for future reconciliation with his son."

"The extent to which the King has publicly made it clear Andrew is still part of the family has caught some people by surprise."

"But ultimately, he has the interests of the monarchy at heart, and that means a united family, whatever its problems. Hopefully that message is getting through to Harry and Meghan."

Recent stories indicate that Prince Charles is keen on mending family ties, and despite not having a UK residence, Prince Harry is reportedly eager to spend more time in his native country.
