Meghan Markle's 'thinly-veiled threats' to Royal Family hidden in 'telling' interview

Meghan Markle stirred up a storm with her comments to The Cut, which some detractors are reading as 'thinly-veiled threats' against the Royal family . The interview dropped in late August 2022, mere days before the Queen's death.

Meghan opened up about her Californian life post-Royal exit and mentioned that she's not bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that would silence her.

She also talked about discovering a diary she kept while at Frogmore Cottage during her return for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

Sunday Times Royal Editor Roya Nikkhah gave her take on Meghan's "revealing" remarks on True Royalty TV's The Royal Beat, saying: "The thinly veiled threats that came in [Meghan's interview with The Cut] ...I think [she] probably hopes it does [feel threatening] to the Royal Family... [But] I think there's a lot of eye-rolling, going, 'We're used to this by now'... [But] that phrase, 'I have a lot to say until I don't' and, 'I've never signed anything that restricts me from talking'... there was a very strong inference there."

"And, of course, the reminder that she keeps a journal, and [her] revelation that, 'When we came back to Windsor, to Frogmore Cottage for the Jubilee, I rediscovered my journal that I'd left there' - I was astonished to discover that she had left a highly private diary behind in Windsor, rather than taking it back. She's mentioned a couple of times in the last year or two that she kept a journal, and I think there is a very strong inference that Meghan could write her own memoir."

Roya further added that she believed Meghan's story about returning to Frogmore Cottage was an excuse to talk about the journal. Most of their belongings were packed up a long time before they even left for Canada and America, so packing up was done," she said. "Certainly, when Eugenie lived there for a while with her husband and child, they had the run of the house.

"I think that most of Harry and Meghan's belongings that remained, which weren't many, were stored away. So I don't think she came back and packed up the whole house... I read it as an opportunity for her to mention the journal."

Ever since Prince Harry released his bombshell memoir Spare, there's been speculation that Meghan would follow suit and write her own tell-all book. Prince Harry's scathing remarks about his Royal kin, especially King Charles and Prince William, in his tell-all book 'Spare' have reportedly caused a total communication shutdown, the Mirror claims.

It's said that Harry's efforts to reach out to his dad via calls and letters are met with dead air, while his attempts to connect with William through texts, calls, and messages are similarly snubbed.

The chasm between them, which started in 2020 after Harry and his spouse renounced their Royal roles, has deepened due to the couple's public denunciations of the Royal household, including their Oprah interview, the Netflix docuseries, and Harry's explosive memoir.

Harry's recent trip to London for the WellChild awards didn't include a meet-up with Charles or William, nor did they cross paths during his May visit to the UK for an Invictus Games anniversary event. Royal commentator Ingrid Seward suggests that the Sussexes' relentless reproach has pushed William to cut off his younger sibling.

Seward emphasised William's need for stability, sharing with the Mirror: "William is sensitive, he likes structure and has perseverance. He does not give up easily. His relationship with brother Harry upset him more than he would care to admit. But he found it easier to cut ties rather than allow himself to be continually annoyed."

she can spew more of her so called truth but she has already been caught in lies so how can we believe her...its only her perceptions and colored by the fact she was not equal in status with the future queen. she's no Diana and no Catherine. she had no class or integrity
