Actress Jenna Ortega took a break from filming the new season of her Netflix series Wednesday, to visit a farm in Co Kildare .

The 22-year-old star has an impressive list of acting credits but gained international fame as the namesake of the Netflix series Wednesday.

The show, which filmed its first season in Romania is a spin-off of the original Addams Family movie. The highly-anticipated second season is currently filming in Ireland and Ortega has been spotted at various locations around Ireland since she arrived.

On one break from filming last week, Ortega found herself on a visit to a farm in Naas, Co Kildare that raises and trains working sheepdogs. Irish Working Sheepdogs took to social media to announce their VIP guest and some of her friends.

"Look who popped in to say hi and see the dogs at work,” they wrote, alongside pictures of Jenna holding some sheepdog puppies. “We were so happy to have the wonderful Jenna Ortega and friends come and see the demonstration while they stay here in Ireland.”

Fans were delighted to see Ortega in such a ‘random’ location as they gushed over the adorable photos taken in the home county of Irish actor Paul Mescal . During her time in Ireland, Ortega has been spotted at a music festival and a Chappell Roan concert in September. Filming for the second season of the show began in April.
