Jimmy Johnson gave his FOX Sports NFL Sunday cohosts a real hoot during their show as he hilariously fumbled over the day's matchups . With Los Angeles Rams star quarterback Matthew Stafford joining them as a guest analyst, Johnson and his team – Howie Long, Curt Menefee, Terry Bradshaw, and Michael Strahan – were deep in discussion about the Atlanta Falcons' faceoff with the Carolina Panthers.

After Stafford shared his insights, Bradshaw praised the Rams quarterback for his sharp analysis under pressure , even quipping that Stafford could be his successor once Bradshaw retires, erupting the crew into laughter . However, when it was time for Johnson to cover the next game, he accidentally brought up the New Orleans Saints instead of the actual upcoming match between the Los Angeles Chargers and Denver Broncos.

Long quickly pointed out, "You forgot! " sparking a wave of chuckles from Bradshaw, Menefee, and Strahan at Johnson's mistake. Despite the friendly ribbing, Johnson pushed on with his description of the clash.

Once he concluded, Strahan exclaimed it had been "the craziest segment" they've witnessed in a "long time."

And while that was just one segment of the many that were played that day, another featuring Bradshaw took centre stage. Amidst the discussion on the latest NFL updates, 76 year old Bradshaw was questioned about the New England Patriots benching experienced Jacoby Brissett in favour of rookie Drake Maye, reports the Mirror US .

Bradshaw didn't mince words when it came to the Patriots' decision, asserting: "It's a terrible move. Brissett was doing everything he could to keep that thing going. That's a horrible offensive line. The one key word there is pressure."

To drive his point home, Bradshaw invoked an iconic rock band: Queen. He mused, "Freddie Mercury of Queen, remember the song? " turning to his co-hosts, hinting, "Pressure! Coming down... you remember the song? Drake Maye will be under pressure. This is a bad move. Five different offensive line combinations already, and your starting center, [David] Andrews, has been out. This is a terrible idea. Jacoby Brissett deserves to keep starting and let that kid sit."

Despite the validity of Bradshaw's argument, his peers seemed more taken with his impromptu performance.

"When you went through that in the mirror last night, did it come off better? " Long teased. Bradshaw hit back with, "Howie, you're not going to believe this. I just came up with that. Right here, on live television," showcasing his quick wit.

Strahan was notably impressed by the septuagenarian’s sharp thinking.

"The way your brain thinks blows us all away," Strahan confessed.
