Taylor Swift unveils major and 'special' new project as the Eras Tour comes to an end

How does one properly honor the end of a tour as big as the Eras ? According to Taylor Swift , it’s with a new book.

Taylor Swift announced today that she will release her first book, The Official Eras Tour Book, to mark the end of the nearly two year concert series .

The book will include more than 500 photographs, including some never-seen-before and behind-the-scenes moments , personal reflections and “all the magical memories you guys brought every single night.”

Swift officially announced the new photo book by posting to Instagram hours ago.

“We’ll be kicking off the final leg of The Eras Tour this week, which is hard to comprehend,” the singer wrote.

“This tour has been the most wondrous experience and I knew I wanted to commemorate the memories we made together in a special way,” she added.

In addition to the book, the 14-time Grammy award-winning artist also announced her album, The Tortured Poets Department : The Anthology available on vinyl and CD starting on November 29 only at Target.

The Eras tour spent nearly 22 months on the road, and is currently the highest-grossing concert tour of all time. Pollstar estimated that the tour generated more than $1 billion.

Not only did the show generate that much money, but it also positively impacted local economies of many concert locations.

“If Taylor Swift were an economy, she’d be bigger than 50 countries,” Dan Fleetwood, President of QuestionPro said.

On the opening night of Swift’s Era’s tour show in Glendale, Arizona, the concert reportedly brought in more revenue for local businesses than the 2023 Super Bowl.

The final performance of the Era’s tour is set to be Dec.8 in Vancouver, Canada.
