Difference between McDonald's McDouble and Double Cheeseburger explained

McDonald's is renowned for one thing in particular and that of course is their vast array of burgers .

When it comes to picking which one to order sometimes it isn't so easy to decide, especially when some of the choices may seem fairly similar . However, when it comes to McDonald's Double Cheeseburger and the McDouble while it may seem they're very much alike with patties are made from 100% beef and almost identical recipes one essential thing distinguishes between them .

The Double Cheeseburger contains two all-beef patties, two slices of American cheese, pickles, dehydrated onions, ketchup, and mustard, all packed in a split bun. The McDouble also has two beef patties but contains just one slice of American cheese.

So, while the toppings and condiments are the same - pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard - the missing second slice of cheese makes the offering a lighter choice. Another distinction between the burgers is that the McDouble is the more budget-friendly offering usually priced at around $3.65, making it an excellent choice costing half a dollar less than the Double Cheeseburger, which usually retails at $4.19.

The cost difference comes down to that extra slice of cheese on the Double Cheeseburger, which as a result has a marginally greater caloric and fat content. A Double Cheeseburger contains approximately 440 calories, 25 grams of protein, 24 grams of fat, and 1,120 milligrams of sodium. Meanwhile, the McDouble has about 390 calories, 22 grams of protein, 20 grams of fat, and 920 milligrams of sodium.

The Double Cheeseburger has been an iconic McDonald's menu choice since 1965. The McDouble meanwhile was introduced to in 2008 as part of McDonald's response to the rising competition in the fast-food market and a need for increased affordability. Meanwhile, McDonald 's fans will be interested to know that just one burger on the menu is always cooked fresh instead of frozen.

Connoisseurs of the fast food brand may have noticed that one particular offering from the burger giant always has a fresher, juicier and meatier taste when they are chowing down on their order.

That's because the burger in question - a Quarter Pounder - is the sole offering on the menu that always comes freshly cooked when you order it. The freshness results in a far more rich and beefier flavor, which consumers often find is missing from patties that have been frozen and stored losing taste and texture.

Ok class here’s the assignment. Describe a slice of cheese being the difference maker between 2 similar items. Here’s the catch…… it needs to be 4000 words.
