Tom Parker Bowles, son of Queen Camilla, has shared his views on his mother's marriage to King Charles. The 49-year-old food writer and restaurant critic, who has been in the industry for 24 years, has penned a new book exploring the culinary preferences of the royals.

Until now, he has steered clear of discussing the Royal family, but his latest work delves into their dietary habits . He also offered his opinion on his mother , the Queen, 77, and King Charles, 75, as a couple.

"They're very well suited. They work well together, and we're happy that our mother's happy," he stated, according to Hello! magazine.

Mr Parker Bowles also expressed his thoughts on King Charles as an individual, asserting that his recent project - Cooking and The Crown wouldn't have come to fruition without him.

"It wouldn't have happened without the Palace and the King", he said. His book features some of his mother's recipes and dishes associated with every monarch from Queen Victoria to King Charles.

He portrayed the UK monarch as "the kindest, most knowledgeable, lovely man. He is someone you can ask about food and it's like asking an academic."

Mr Parker Bowles added. "He's trodden every corner of his kingdom; he knows farming he's a farming hero." He also dismissed rumours concerning his mother's drinking and smoking habits.

In a chat with The Times about his latest book, the stepson of King Charles has addressed the "inaccurate" rumours that the Queen enjoys her gin and cigarettes.

He remarked: "If anyone ever meets my mother, they always... I mean, a son would say this, but she's someone I love going to have dinner with."

"And I go for a walk with her in Scotland. You're always going to have your rows and differences of opinion. It would be very odd if we agreed [on] everything. Creepy. I certainly would annoy her sometimes."

"Oh, you know she has that reputation of drinking gin and smoking? Never drunk a glass of gin in her life. Don't smoke."

The 49-year-old attributed these false impressions to Camilla's depiction in the Channel 4 comedy series The Windsors.

Don't care for how she interfere with Harry family issues, considering she surely would not like it if the shoe was on the other foot!
