Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been seen tackling engagements solo , sparking whispers about their partnership. After Harry's individual visits to the UK and South Africa without Duchess Meghan, who remained in Montecito, gossip soared concerning their professional ties.

The Duchess's own solo endeavours also escalated the talk regarding their relationship both professionally and personally .

Yet, despite this, Harry has spoken endearingly of his wife and children during recent appearances , which hasn't quelled the spreading suggestions of an underlying issue.

Nevertheless, a mate has stepped in to clarify why Meghan was absent from Harry's latest solo trips. They mentioned that it revolves around parenting commitments.

Chatting with People magazine, the chum divulged: "[It's] as much a reflection on parenting priorities, in that one of them stays behind with the children."

An additional palace source implied that joint absences at events could be put down to the needs of their little ones - five year old Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, aged three - offering an explanation for why Harry might not have rejoined Meghan quickly during his ongoing commitments.

Royal expert Jennie Bond remarked to OK! Magazine: "Married couples don't have to do everything together."

She continued saying: "The children are young and it's much better for them to have one parent at home, so it all makes perfect sense. It's just Harry doing what Harry does best."

Prince Harry went solo on his recent trips, starting with the UK for the WellChild awards, followed by a visit to South Africa for his Sentebale charity, which he established alongside Prince Seeiso in 2006 to support young individuals affected by HIV/AIDS. Sentebale has since expanded its mission to aid youth facing diverse challenges ranging from health issues to inequality and climate change impacts.

Additionally, the Duke of Sussex popped over to New York City for a brief stint. On another note, Meghan was spotted dazzling on the red carpet at a gala for Los Angeles ' children's hospital.
