TMZ faced backlash for briefly publishing and then removing images of the One Direction star's deceased body, sparking outrage among fans when the pictures appeared online.

According to TMZ, the musician's body was discovered on his hotel balcony, surrounded by tables and chairs, with his distinctive tattoos clearly visible.

Eyewitnesses informed the media that Liam was behaving in an erratic manner prior to his death, even going as far as smashing his laptop. It's reported that he was carried from the hotel back to his room.
