Caitlin Clark seems to have addressed speculation about a potential departure from the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), saying 'I wouldn't change anything for the world' in a telling statement when reflecting on her season.

The point guard has gained widespread recognition after a remarkable rookie campaign with Indiana Fever, leading her team to the WNBA play-offs before ultimately losing to the Connecticut Sun in the first round.

Clark's impressive performances earned her the Rookie of the Year award, beating out Angel Reese, and broadcasters saw a surge in viewers as the sport attracted a new audience thanks to the Iowa native's rise to stardom.

Her record-breaking season has sparked speculation about her future, with some suggesting that the 22-year-old is considering whether to stay in the WNBA or explore other options.

If Clark were to indicate a desire to leave the United States, she would likely receive significant interest from other teams, reports the Express . However, Clark appears to have hinted that she will remain in the WNBA for the upcoming season.

In a post on Instagram earlier this week, she wrote: "I feel very thankful. I wouldn't change anything for the world. I feel very thankful for the relationships I've built, the opportunities that I've had, the way people have supported me, and whether it was at Iowa or whether it's now in the WNBA."

Clark has signaled to her fans she's not planning on leaving the US anytime soon, penning a heartfelt note: "Year one - thank you to the many people who have supported me as I've been able to live my childhood dream. I'm filled with gratitude as I reflect on this past year of my life. See you all in year two."

While taking a break from the courts, Clark is teeing off to improve her golf skills, gearing up to play alongside Indiana Fever teammate Lexie Hull at next month's LPGA Tour, hosted by golf legend Annika Sorenstam.

The pair have been spotted getting some practice in, with Clark showing some serious skills on a par three hole - nearly nailing a hole-in-one and narrowly missing out by mere inches, proving she'll be someone to watch at the upcoming Tour event.
