Strahan lauded Hutchinson: "After the bye week, [Hutchinson is] still leading the league in sacks with six-and-a-half. And the [quarterback] pressures," but was quickly cut off by Bradshaw exclaiming, "I did the song already. Pressure!."
Earlier on, Bradshaw had oddly burst into "Under Pressure" by Queen while talking over the Patriots' choice to replace the seasoned Jacoby Brissett with newcomer Drake Maye, reports the Mirror US .
Bradshaw argued against the decision saying: "It's a terrible move," defending Brissett as hardworking amidst challenges. "That's a horrible offensive line. The one keyword there is pressure. Freddie Mercury of Queen, remember the song? Pressure! Coming down... you will recall the track? Drake Maye will be under pressure. This is a bad move."
Bradshaw's attempt at crooning didn't impress his colleagues, with Strahan quickly discouraging any encores. "Please don't do that. Please don't do that again," he said to Bradshaw, hinting at potential legal backlash for mangling a song.
Long chimed in with Strahan, poking fun at Bradshaw's dismal serenade. "Freddie Mercury's rolling over [in] his grave," he quipped, provoking laughter from everyone.
The Lions, as predicted by Strahan, thrashed the Cowboys away from home, securing a staggering 47-9 victory. However, the triumph was bittersweet as Hutchinson suffered a game-ending injury during the third quarter.
After bringing Cowboys' Prescott down for a sack, Hutchinson had an unfortunate run-in with fellow Lion McNeill, which left him writhing on the ground. A fractured tibia was the grim diagnosis for the Pro Bowler, resulting in required surgery to end his season prematurely.
Hutchinson took to social platforms to express gratitude for the outpouring of concern and announced the success of his surgery. "In light of Aidan's injury last night, we want to thank you all for the outpouring of love and well wishes," the statement professed.
"Your support through this shocking situation means so much to our family. We are blessed to share that Aidan's surgery was a success. Thank you to the doctors and nurses who have taken such good care of him. Aidan wants you all to know that his healing and redemption story has begun. He is holding the motto of Detroit close to his heart: resurget cineribus. He will rise from the ashes."
