    Netflix adds fans' favorite 'top ten' comedy series perfect for watching this weekend

    Telly fans were left devastated when one of their favorite shows was discontinued, and now Netflix has offered them a life-line.

    Fans are rejoicing after their beloved show has been made available to stream on Netflix . The 'top ten' comedy Detroiters will be available to schedule.

    It wasn't an easy journey to get there. It was revealed at the start of the month, that Detroiters, a comedy series created by and starring Ted Lasso actor Sam Richardson and I Think You Should Leave's Tim Robinson, had been acquired by Netflix.

    However, when the date it was due to arrive last Tuesday came and went, without fans being able to find it. The series, which was also created by Zach Kanin and Joe Kelly, tells the story of best friends who work as creatives at the family of Robinson’s character’s advertising agency, and was due to arrive on Netflix on Tuesday (15 October).

    Now it has finally arrived, fans are celebrating once more.

    The sitcom has an overall score of 95 per cent on review aggregate Rotten Tomatoes. It’s second season has a perfect 100 per cent and has been hailed as absolutely perfect in every way.

    A low-budget Irish comedy that initially went under the radar in 2022 has now become a huge hit on Netflix .

    The coming-of-age comedy-drama, Joyride, feature s Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman and is the first feature film from Dublin-based Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker, Emer Reynolds.

    Set in the beautiful Co Kerry and filmed in the southwest of Ireland, the movie follows the unlikely friendship between a self-reliant 12-year-old boy and a middle-aged lawyer spiraling out of control with a newborn baby as they journey across Ireland.

    The official synopsis for Joyride reads: "12-year-old Mully (Charlie Reid) has lost his mother, and discovers his debt-ridden father stealing the charity money they've raised in her name."

    "Grabbing the cash, Mully flees the scene, steals a taxi and is shocked to find a woman, Joy (Olivia Colman), passed out in the back seat with a baby. Joy, an inadvertent mother, has decided to give her child away to a friend and leave the country."
