An airline has received a 'bomb threat' on social media against several of its aircraft, with the threatening individual claiming "no one will make it out alive".

The disturbing message was posted as a reply to a Delta Airlines customer service representative who had engaged in an earlier conversation about the company, shortly after the airline was forced to make several emergency landings .

The chilling post by @adamlanza111 read: "Hi. There are bombs placed onboard of 5 your planes. No one will make it out alive."

It urged immediate action: "Hurry up and evacuate the plane."

The specific flights identified in the ominous message include flight DL20 from Seattle to London Heathrow and flight DL3 from Los Angeles to London Heathrow, as well as DL8 to Tokyo, DL27 to Seoul, and DL32 back to London Heathrow from Atlanta.
