Tammy Slaton, the spirited lass from '1000-lb Sisters', has won over fans with her latest incredible weight loss triumph .

The 38-year-old's striking transformation has kept viewers glued to their screens since the show debuted on TLC in 2020.

Previously wheelchair-bound and tipping the scales at 725 pounds, Tammy took a bold step with bariatric surgery in July 2022 to embark on her weight loss crusade. But first, she faced the challenge of slimming down to 550 pounds , which led her into the doors of a food addiction rehab facility.

Despite a setback where she left the facility heavier than upon entry, Tammy soldiered on, smashing her goals. Fast forward to December 2023, she astonished fans revealing a loss of a whopping 440 pounds.

Now standing and walking on her own two feet without assistance, she continues using an oxygen tube for her breathing. Her journey marched on with more progress almost a year later. In a sneak peek from the October 15 episode of the hit series, shared by PEOPLE, we spy Tammy at the doctors with sister and co-star Amy in tow.

"At my rock bottom, I was weighing about 725 pounds," she confessed. "The last time I saw Dr. Smith was about nine months ago and I was around 420 pounds. He told me I had to lose 100 pounds before my next appointment. I'm extremely nervous."

The telly favourite was gobsmacked when she hopped on the scales to see she'd tipped it at 303.8 - smashing her target weight. Over the moon, she blurted out: "I surpassed Dr. Smith's goal, my goal, all the goals! ".

In an emotional video, Tammy called her weight loss journey "unbelievable" She opened up, saying, "Now that I've lost so much weight, I'm able to do things that I never would have been able to do. I think people do take the small things for granted. Being able to cross your legs and put your shoes on... I'm able to sit comfortably on the toilet, I've never been able to do that."

Her impressive feat has drawn heaps of admiration online, with one fan posting, "You are awesome! Such determination! " Another chimed in with, "I'm so proud of her. She has done a phenomenal job," and yet another said, "So proud of you Tammy. Live your life to the fullest. Wishing you all the best,".

Dr. Smith, chatting with the press, wasn't taken aback by Tammy's triumph, remarking, "Tammy has consistently demonstrated her dedication to making sustainable lifestyle changes to maximise the benefits of her surgery," He went on to say, "I've emphasised the importance of making small, daily adjustments to ensure not only her continued progress but also her long-term success. She's truly committed to her health journey."

Dr. Smith also disclosed that Tammy's next course of treatment would involve skin removal surgery, typically advised after a period of sustained weight loss lasting between three to six months. Nevertheless, he conceded that if Tammy is experiencing substantial issues with loose skin that are hindering her mobility and exacerbating other health issues, it may be necessary to expedite the surgical procedure.

After a thorough consultation, the specialist observed: "Given this," adding, "it makes sense to consider surgery sooner rather than later, even though she will continue to lose weight in the future."
