Taylor Swift's resurfaced P Diddy comments have 'aged like milk'

Taylor Swift's past revelation about her ideal prom date hasn't stood the test of time very well , amid the recent allegations made against P Diddy .

Over ten years ago, the 34-year-old pop superstar appeared on the Rachael Ray show, where she participated in a celebrity quiz game.

At the age of 21, Taylor responded to a series of quick-fire questions by holding up photos of various music celebrities, including Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Jennifer Lopez, Madonna and Katy Perry.

When asked who she would have chosen as her prom date, Taylor said: "It would be a group, and it would be a really fun group."

"Boy, you're going on a freaky prom date," joked host Rachel, now 56, as the singer made her selections, reports the Express US .

After some thought, the Cruel Summer singer chose Diddy, Katy, Jennifer, Justin Timberlake, and Sheryl Crow.

"Why that spectacular array of people? " Rachel asked, leading Taylor to explain her choices.

"Because ... all these different reasons," the Bad Blood singer elaborated. "Well, Katy would just be so much fun. She's just, like, crazy fun, like spontaneous."

"Diddy's really always been very nice to me," she went on, adding, "He would be fun to be in the prom group.

"He's a gentleman, isn't he? He's a lovely gentleman," Rachel agreed.

The billionaire's comments quickly became news after the throwback moment was shared in a now-deleted TikTok video, with many of her fans noting that the clip "didn't age well."

"As a millennial, we looked up to these people. we didn't know what was really going on. this is like fearless/speak now taylor. she like 19-21 here," one fan remarked.

"Back when we were so naive," another chimed in, while a third commented: "This aged like milk."

Over a decade after Taylor's confession, Diddy found himself arrested on September 16, 2024. He's currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn , awaiting his trial on May 5, 2025, facing charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Diddy and his attorneys strongly refute all charges, pleading not guilty.
