The Americana singer/songwriter released an album, One Man's Story, in January of 2024; the concept album, inspired by the storytelling of John Steinbeck, follows a Midwestern man from the age of 13 through his life to old age and becoming a widower. We talked with Glad about the album, his mockumentary Tall People Music, and about his podcast, Glad to be Here, in which he interviews fellow Minnesota musicians. The University of Minnesota Duluth women's basketball team adds a former rival to the bench, welcoming Ashley Gustavson to the coaching staff as an intern assistant coach for the 2024-25 season. Gustavson spent the last year at Minnesota State University Moorhead, where she spent her graduate year of eligibility playing for the Dragons.
