High temperatures in the 90s forecast for central Pa. this weekend
The National Weather Service is calling for more weather in the low to mid-90s and possible thunderstorms throughout central Pennsylvania this weekend. The Harrisburg area is expected to have a high temperature near 92 on Friday with a 50% chance of precipitation after 1 p.m. Other places in central Pa., such as Lancaster and York will have heat indexes around 100 on Friday, the NWS said.

Update: Heat advisory affecting Pennsylvania until Saturday evening
On Friday at 3:31 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated heat advisory in effect until Saturday at 8 p.m. for Berks, Lehigh, Northampton and Bucks counties. "Heat index values up to 102 degrees," comments the weather service. "Very warm and humid conditions tonight will offer little relief from the heat."
Pair Charged After Probe into Jamestown Fight
An investigation into a fight that occurred early Friday on Jamestown's north side resulted in the arrest of two women. Jamestown Police responded to the scene shortly after 1:00 AM and saw multiple people actively fighting. Officers say an investigation found that Abigail Quinones violated an order of protection between two people, including a juvenile, and also got into a physical altercation and injured both victims while they had a refrain-from order of protection against her. Police also found that Samantha Bullock allegedly injured two adults by punching them in the face and biting one of them. Quinones faces two counts of aggravated criminal contempt, two counts of 3rd-degree assault and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, while Bullock is charged with two counts of 3rd-degree assault. Both suspects are being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
