EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) — Texas police are seeking the public’s help locating a wanted Mexican national accused of repeatedly raping a child and possibly trying to flee the country.

The Irving Police Department issued a be-on-the-lookout notice for Rigoberto Santos Torres, 42, who is from Mexico and currently present in the U.S. illegally. His last known address was in Irving.

Irving police said although it is not known which bus service he’s using, his family said he’s used Turimex and Tornado charters in the past.

Santos Torres is 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. Police also said he has a Mexican passport and was likely headed to “San Luis, Mexico.”

According to NewsNation, Santos Torres first entered the U.S. illegally on Jan. 25, 2018, and subsequently was removed. He attempted to enter the U.S. on Dec. 27, 2020, but was expelled under the Title 42 order, but again entered the U.S. undetected after 2020.
